History
As the long awaited successor of the E12, the E28 was only the second generation of BMW’s 5 series executive cars. Production ranged from ’81 until ’88, however the M535i did not come into production until 1985. Designed by Claus Luthe, the car contains BMW’s longest running engine, the M30B35; a straight-six petrol engine with 218bhp. The M535i was also one of the first 5 series with the availability of an anti-lock brake system. Furthermore, the car can be recognised by its angled centre console and large on-board computer.

Specs
The current and original owners have made sure the car stays as authentic as possible. The car has recently undergone maintenance where solely original BMW items were used. The M535i has no inauthentic modifications and still sports its original 16” BBS wheels, making the car one of the very few to still be in this state. The car also comes with the original set of TRX wheels.
Adding to its incredible driving experience, the car boosts a 5-speed manual gearbox without catalytic converter, as well as a sunroof and air conditioning.
